Falling for Film (Again)

Whew, it’s been quite a while since I shot film on a regular basis, but recently I decided to dust off my Hasselblad 500 c/m and my Canon AE-1 and make a consistent effort to shoot more film. I love the way that analog photography forces me to slow down and be more present than I might be with digital. I tend to get shutter-happy with digital and take way more images than is necessary. I have two more exposed rolls of film to drop off at the lab soon and my fridge is stocked with more to keep me going this summer. I might even bring some along with me to the weddings I’m shooting this summer!
